- We collect your email address to create and manage your account.
- We use password-based login and may support two-factor authentication (Google Authenticator) to protect your account.
- We show ads using Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers such as the Advertising ID and may use your IP address for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
- We do not inspect or store the content of what you do over the VPN (for example, websites you visit or messages you send).
- We use encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for data sent between the app and our servers.
1) Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Verde VPN (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Verde VPN mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
2) Information we collect
2.1 Account information (required)
- Email address — used to create, identify, and manage your account.
- Account credentials — you sign in using a password. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are not stored in plain text.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) — if you enable Google Authenticator, we may store security information necessary to verify your 2FA codes (e.g., whether 2FA is enabled and related verification data). We do not receive your Google account password.
2.2 VPN service data
To provide VPN connectivity, the Service must route network traffic through VPN servers. We do not collect or store the content of your internet traffic (such as websites you visit, DNS queries, messages, or files) for the purpose of tracking you.
Important: Like all VPN services, your device’s IP address is used as part of establishing and maintaining the VPN connection. Additionally, third-party services (such as advertising providers) may process IP address for security, fraud prevention, and ad delivery.
2.3 Advertising and analytics data (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain information, which can include:
- Advertising ID (device identifier) and other device identifiers
- IP address
- Approximate location derived from IP (not precise GPS)
- Ad interactions (such as ad impressions and clicks)
- Diagnostic information (for example, performance and crash data related to ads)
This information is used for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, and analytics. You can learn more about Google’s data practices in Google’s privacy documentation.
2.4 Diagnostics and security logs
We may collect limited diagnostic information to maintain the Service, such as crash reports and basic error logs. This helps us fix bugs and improve stability and security.
3) How we use information
- Provide the Service (create accounts, authenticate users, enable VPN connectivity).
- Security (protect accounts, support 2FA, prevent abuse and fraud).
- Customer support (respond to requests, investigate issues).
- Advertising and measurement (show ads through AdMob and measure performance).
- Improve reliability (debugging and crash diagnostics).
4) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following cases:
- Service providers — for example, Google AdMob (ads) and related Google services used for analytics/diagnostics, where applicable.
- Legal requirements — if required by law or valid legal process.
- Security and abuse prevention — to protect users, our Service, and the public.
5) Data security
- Data transmitted between the app and our servers is protected using TLS/HTTPS where applicable.
- Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (not plain text).
- We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6) Data retention
We retain account information for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. When you request deletion, we delete your account and associated personal data, unless we must retain certain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Any retained records are kept only for the minimum period required.
7) Your choices and controls
7.1 Advertising controls
- You can reset or limit the use of your Advertising ID in your device settings.
- You can manage ad personalization settings in your Google settings where available.
7.2 Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data using the following link:
https://forosh.site/delete.html
What will be deleted: your account record (including email) and related account settings,
including 2FA status where applicable.
What may be kept: limited security, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance records (if
required), for the minimum necessary period.
8) Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on where our service providers operate. We take steps to protect information consistent with this Policy.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where required, provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
